Electrostatic powder-coated color-coated sheets are produced using an electrostatic adsorption coating process, where high-molecular-weight powder coatings are sprayed onto the substrate surface and cured at high temperatures to form a highly dense coating. This coating firmly adheres to the substrate surface, creating a new type of high-grade sheet material. It features powder coating, ultra-high film thickness, ultra-high density, ultra-strong corrosion resistance, and ultra-high fade resistance. Notably, its acid corrosion resistance is 5-6 times that of traditional paint-coated color-coated steel sheets.

What is powder coating?
Powder coating is a solid powder-based synthetic resin coating composed of solid resins, pigments, fillers, and additives. Unlike conventional solvent-based coatings and water-based coatings, its dispersing medium is not solvent or water, but air. It features no solvent pollution, 100% film formation, and low energy consumption. Powder coatings are divided into two main categories: thermoplastic and thermosetting. Powder-coated color-coated sheets use high-performance thermosetting powder coatings, which are based on thermosetting synthetic resins as the film-forming material. During the drying process, the resin first melts and then undergoes chemical cross-linking to cure into a smooth, dense, and hard coating film. Due to the extremely high molecular weight of the resin in powder coatings, they inherently possess excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and corrosion.
